As part of the ongoing follow-up to the project of writing Arabic Language Books for non-native speakers in East Africa, the Association carried out an evaluation workshop for the stages of project completion. The workshop, which was held for three days in Zanzibar, was attended by a number of experts in the field of curriculum design.
It is worth mentioning that the association implemented an intensive language program on the sidelines of the curriculum evaluation workshop at the campus of Al-istiqama educational City in Zanzibar. The program is concerned with the application of the Language Immersion Methodology and its effectiveness in raising the level of participants in speaking and reading Arabic. Thirty trainees from various regions of Tanzania and Kenya has benefited from the program.
