Within the framework of the Association’s strategy for the development of education in East Africa, and within its executive programs to enhance the status of the Arabic language and its teaching methods for non-native speakers, International Istiqama Muslim Association celebrated the conclusion of a language immersion course that lasted for two months, in which 17 trainees from various East African countries and 13 teachers of the Arabic language participated in Zanzibar.

The realization of the language immersion course comes within the program of the language convoy that will tour East African countries, to revive the Arabic language and address linguistic weakness in all its forms among teachers and students of the International Istiqama. The second edition of the language convoy will be implemented in Uganda next Shawwal, by Allah’s willing, and will continue for two months.
